surprisingly we didn't play any tricks on anyone. hehe. we meet up at clarke quay to celebrate zhisen's birthday. we went there because there's both settler's and pitstop cafe. we decided to go to pitstop cafe as the ambience there is better. its much more cosy too.
the food there is pretty nice. i forgot to take any photos of the food. hehe. the service there is very good and the people there are very friendly. the first game we played was sequence. to win the game, you have to form 2 sets of straight lines, either horizontally, vertically or diagonally. 1 set consisting of 5 'tokens'. hehe. dunno what its called. =x
the place blackout twice. ruben desperately trying to see with the light on zs's hp.
the blue team won! im part of the team. hehe.
the next game we played was taboo, which i forgot to take photos again. next was snorta. it was similar to the game i played during first three months with o5s15 using poker cards. we had lots of fun playing snorta as the girls was screaming before we shouted the sound we have to shout. 2 tips to win the game mentioned by the guys was: 1)scream to distract the player. 2)face your animal to the person next to you. you can only understand the 2 tips if you're present. lol.
the next game was saboteur, which was quite interesting. there are 2 teams in this game, one is the gold digger, the other is the saboteur. gold diggers have to build tunnels to reach the gold while the saboteur have to prevent the gold diggers from reaching the gold. but we are not allowed to know each other's identity. you have to guess by observing their actions.
the identity cards.
before we go, they will take a photo and print it out, giving us a copy to put it on the wall. we stayed there for about 4 hours i think. we extended 2 hours of the playing time. we had lots of fun playing, screaming, and laughing. hope we can make this a monthly event. =D its really a great place for gathering, birthdays, slacking, blah blah.
in case you people might want to know more about the cafe, you can go to http://pitstopcafe.blogspot.com/
